Site description: Chicago Tap Theatre was founded by Artistic Director Mark Yonally, who saw tap as an unexplored medium for narrative and conceptual dance. A veteran of the Bill Evans Dance Company and E.T.C. (the oldest tap company in Chicago), he also wants to help preserve the rapidly disappearing work (dances, writings, film, etc.) of first and second generation tap dancers.
