Pokotuk Anatoliy
Anatoliy Pokotuk is an artist, poet, philosopher and carver.
He was born in 1951 in Knyazne village in hte Lviv''s region. To get his education Anatoliy Pokotuk studiet in Ukrainian Academy of Printino in Lviv.
In 1985 he was the initiator of organizing of the "Person. Earht. Universe" museum in Sokal, which is the branch office of the Lviv''s museum of religion''s history.
A.Pokotuk Beneficent Spiritual-Art Foundation was organized. The goal of it''s activity is familiarizing with the achievements of the Ukrainian culture.
The scientific, religions-art newspaper "Temple of the heart" was found that year also.
Pokotuk is a director of the museum. He connects his work with creation. He has created a number of artistic workks cycles: "Under Mariya''s protection" , "Holu Ukraine", "T.Shevtchenco is the opostle of Truth and Torch of Spirit" and other by the Gospel''s motives, "Person. Earht. Universe", "Kyivo-Mogilanska Academy".
The exhibitions of a Pokotuk took place in Kyiv, Lviv, Zitimir, Nizin, Moskov and other plases.
He is as well known in Ukraine, as in England, USA, Canada, Austria, Australian, India, Germany, France, Italia, Poland and other counties.
The works of A.Pokotuk are in private colections of the famous people: L.Kravchuk, L.Kuchma, the presidents of 9 countries of Europe, the ministers of Ukraine, Ioane Pavel the II, Radgive Gandi, L.Kadenuk and in many museums of the world.
A.Pokotuk was the participant of diferent exhibitions in Ukraine, he took part in the international conferences in Ukraine; and abroad.
TThe artist was honoured by diplomas and medals (2001 - "Lviv''s glory" diploma annd regional art premium by S.Hordinsky.
The main peculiarity of the A.Pokotuk creative work is use of Holy Relics from the Holy pleces of the World in his different works.
